What is your Health and Safety Policy?

The Wizard of York has Public Liability Insurance and can provide a full Risk Assessment. Due to the busy nature of York, children are encouraged to walk behind the guide at all times, and are the responsibility of accompanying parents.

Wizard Wand Kits are not suitable for children under 3 years of age, as these may pose a choking hazard. Safe wand-waving is also encouraged to prevent poked eyes.

Chocolate frogs given out on birthday tours may not be suitable for nut allergy sufferers (allergies will be checked in advance of the tour) and also contain milk. An alternative can be provided.

For the comfort and safety of all members of the group, this tour operates a non-smoking policy.

The Wizard Walk of York adheres to current government guidelines regarding Coronavirus. Use of face masks and personal social distancing is currently optional. If displaying symptoms, your guide will take a lateral flow test and, if positive, will cancel a tour with as much notice as possible and issue a full refund. 

Your guide maintains regular handwashing, and any items handed out to guests are regularly cleaned. 

Please do not attend if you have tested positive for Covid 19 or other infectious illness.
